Timo Marks is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Die Schuhleister GmbH & Co. KG. He comes from a Management Consulting background. He has worked with several European organizations including Arvato, which is a global service company. He recently finished his doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kassel. He is also a professor at the Fresenius International Business School in Cologne, Germany. He enjoys watching or playing football on his free time.
Dominik Gräßle is the leader of the technical team. He has over 18 years of experience in Sports Science where he focused in rehabilitation and prevention. Before he co-founded the startup he was with the German Sport University Cologne, where he began his studies and career. He attended an apprenticeship program in Orthopedic Technic. During his free time, he enjoys spending it with his family and participating in recreational sports such as power kiting.
Joshua Meskemper is in operations and product development. He has over 4 years of experience in Sports Technology, where he specialized in adaption of technology to the functionality of the human body. He studied at the German Sports University Cologne. He enjoys his free time with his family and likes to participate in endurance sports.
Christin Grube is the Head of Business Development. Before joining the Schuhleister team she was a consultant for Ernst & Young, where she specialized in market research for the retail sector. She has several years of experience in Enterprise and Market Development of New Markets from her own entrepreneurial endeavors. She has a Masters from the Grenoble Graduate School of Business in Innovation Management. She enjoys her free time reading.
Luise is responsible for customer care and strategy implementation. At Die Schuhleister she contributes with her experience in reducing complexity and bringing customers’ needs into focus. She has 4 years of experience working for Roche in the field of Sales and Finance. Her academic background is in Business Administration (Diploma) and Sustainable Development (Master).
Luise loves spending her free time seeking remote spots in and around Cologne with her family and endeavouring a sustainable lifestyle.
Nadya Jelil is supporting the operations team. Before joining the Schuhleister family she worked in shoe design. She recently finished her studies at the Schuhfachschule in Pirmasens, Germany where she specialized in industrial shoe building. She enjoys here free time reading, or singing and dancing with her friends.
Julian Gauder is a supporting member the technical team. He is a technical product designer and mechanical engineer. Primary he works as a scientific assistant at the institute for tooling and manufacturing technology, where he is responsible for 3d-printing. This makes him an ideal support for Die Schuhleister in technical belongings and in product development. In his free time he is studying to get his masters in Technical Management.
While helping out at various places in the company, Christof's current focus lies on the operations side - doing operations support as well as optimizing the company's product portfolio and sourcing strategy. While doing his undergraduate studies in management at the University of St. Gallen, Christof set out on a mission to create the world's most comfortable yet gorgeous high heel - collaborating with both renowned orthopedists and shoemakers. The result is a patent-pending ergonomic footbed that significantly increases foot comfort in high heels and can be licensed by shoe brands. After he then completed a specialized Masters program in Footwear Innovation, Christof now combines a special mix of business as well as insole and footwear-related know-how to go the next steps together with Die Schuhleister.
